- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Overall, I am rating Irmo Smiles with three stars. The office is nice, the on-call staff are pleasant, and overall the technicians are nice. We have experienced difficulty with scheduling as they don't see patients until 8:30am and their last appointment is around 4:30 and they are not open on Fridays and are closed several of the days they kids are out of school. All of this makes it hard not to pull the kids out of school for appointments. Also, it seems like there is some sort of an issue with brackets/bands/buttons for one child or another each visit and we end up going back within 7-10 days from the regular appointment, provided there is an appointment available. As the practice has grown, it has become increasingly difficult to get appointments. When looking for an orthodontist, I recommend selecting one close to your child's school in additional to looking at the practice and credentials of the doctors.September 25, 2017by Kathleen Pierce
